She’s already ahead of all of us.

May 28, 2008

Today I got an email from an old friend of mine. She had sent me a link to an interview she had with ephotos.com. Congratulations to Lacey Johnson. We took good old Owen Butler’s class together. We photographed the entire day of November 2nd 2004. What a terrible turning point that day was for all of us. Apparently all those negative words about Diane Arbus didn’t turn you off.

In other news I’ve been traveling a bunch the past few weeks and I don’t think its going to slow down till at least July. I haven’t been photographing a whole lot but I am doing a redesign of my website. I got some encouragement from Amy Elkins.

An old friend

May 10, 2008

A good friend of mine from high school was featured on NPR today. Hattie Saltonstall is a senior at Savanah College of Art and Design and apparently she is finishing her senior collection. Oh, and she is really awesome at horseback riding.  Kinda crazy that my friends are on NPR, but great to hear about her. Remember art class?

A man who stays true to his word.

A man who stays true to his word, and his dollar. I sent Justin $1 and in return I received a whole envelope of awesome art. Hope you didn’t miss the boat. Thanks again Justin.
